Bradley R. Wallin was a young baseball player from Peoria, Illinois who tragically lost his life at the age of 11 to a rare form of bone cancer.

His memory lives on through the annual St. Jude’s Brad Wallin Memorial Tournament. The Renegades Elite Baseball club has been competing
in this celebration of life tournament since 2010 to help raise awareness and funding for St. Jude’s cancer research. To date, $1.2 million dollars has been raised for cancer research and the tournament has grown to over 300 teams participating in 2022. This tournament embodies all the core values of Renegades Elite Baseball – a program that not only trains young athletes to become better players but grows our boys in body, mind, and heart.

This year the Renegades boys once again donned their gold jerseys and black socks with gold cancer-awareness ribbons in honor of Brad. The 14U boys, led by 5th-year Renegades players Brock Ryan and Frankie Buttitta, advanced to the Round of Eight in the Silver Bracket of 47 teams. The 13U team powered through to the Round of Eight in the Silver Bracket in a field of 62 teams. Participating in one of the largest youth baseball tournaments in the US in 2022, Renegades Elite Baseball once again shined against teams from across Illinois and the surrounding states.
