Community Service

Community Service

Class athletes strive to perform at their best on and off the field. One of the most important areas where they can contribute their good character and work ethic is in their community. Each team and their families do two to three events each year. The Renegades teams have a greater passion for these volunteer activities than many other traveling baseball programs. Through service, players feel more connected to the community and bond together. They do fundraisers, participate in collection drives, play “buddy ball” with other children, help seniors and veterans, and serve other non-profits.

A few events from years past:
The Fisher House at Hines VA Hospital — Cook breakfast for families that stay there.
Buddy Ball non-profit — A special needs athletic league.
Feed My Starving Children — Players and family hand-pack meals to feed children all over the world.
Clean Up – Give Back — Big 5 Clean Ups! This is a dedicated cleanup effort.
Maryville’s Annual Stuff the Bus — Maryville Crisis Nursery’s children and families
St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital — The Renegades teams shaved their heads for donations.
