Renegade players and family team up with Feed My Starving Children

For the third year in a row, the Renegade Travel Baseball Program volunteered at Feed My Starving Children facility. The Renegade Travel Baseball Program came together for a volunteer experience that creates positive change for hungry children around the world. The players and their families volunteered at Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) in Schaumburg. Everyone involved showed a passion for feeding the world’s starving children by packing nutritious meals. The player volunteers were able to engage their hearts, hands and minds for a cause greater than themselves.

Everyone accomplished something tangible together by packing MannaPack Rice Meals, which include rice, vegetables, vitamins, and soy in each bag. By the end of the session, the group made 43,200 meals. That’s enough to feed 118 kids for a year. The 11U and 12U players took another step forward in their travel baseball season, proving their dedication to becoming Class Athletes.

This year’s meals were shipped to LeSEA Global Feed The Hungry in Honduras on Wednesday February 07, 2024. Precious children will be eating a nourishing meal soon because of the Renegade players and families. FMSC has fed kids in over 100 countries since 2009. Their goal is to create local food security so future generations can thrive.
