Niles Renegades Help St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital

During the weekend of May 31st through June 2nd the Niles Renegades Baseball team played in the 9th Annual St. Jude / Brad Wallin Memorial Tournament in Chillicothe, IL.

This baseball tournament is named for Brad Wallin, a young baseball player from that area whose life was cut short at the age of 10 years by cancer.

As a sign of team unity and support, the Renegades shaved their heads to raise funds to help support the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital as part of our Community Involvement activities. The Renegades organization raised close to $2,500.

Each team member received a gold wristband, wore a gold t-shirt and pink socks to show their support in the fight against childhood cancer.
