The Renegades 12u learned a valuable lesson and got a win in a doubleheader vs. Norwood on May 21st.  Murphy’s boys came out swinging in the opener held a lead through the first four innings.  Rather than finishing the way they started, however, the Gades lost focus and in turn, lost the game 9-8.  Sometimes the early season lessons like this one prove to be helpful in the long run.

In Game 2, the Gades again jumped on Norwood early and often, scoring eight times in the first two innings and eight times in the last two innings for a solid 18-8 victory, their first of the season.  The boys now head to the Mundelein tournament, where they are sure to face stiff competition.
