The 2014 Renegades Bus Trip began on July 18th, 2014, as the 13U/14U players and 3 coaches, over 10 days will journey on an expedition from Chicago to Indianapolis IN, Louisville KY, Nashville TN, Memphis TN, St. Louis MS, and then back home.
The itinerary is jam-packed with educational sightseeing. The group plans to visit Churchill Downs, Louisville Slugger Plant, Sun City Studio, Civil Rights Museum, a trip to Vanderbilt, and of course plenty of baseball games!
Coach Ugel hosted a costume kick-off at Maryville on the eve of the annual bus trip. Players were asked to dress as someone with some historical significance and then present a report on what impact that figure has had on society.
