Renegades players and their families are thoroughly enjoying the sights and sounds of travel baseball. Both the 11U and 13U teams are learning, developing, and competing as they play through their leagues and tournaments. The boys’ play and teamwork is coming together as league matches continue. The young 11U team even experienced an early season win over Vernon Hills.
13U Gets String of Wins in MSBL League Play
Fresh off the Genoa-Kingston Tournament Semifinal advancement, the 13U team put together a string of impressive wins. Timely plays, great defense, and lively at-bats got the team in the winning column against The Windy City Prospects and Top Tier North White. Unfortunately, the rematch with Top Tier North White ended in a heartbreak of an 11-12 loss.
Alumni and Family Show Support
As the teams are in the middle of their seasons, players from past seasons have been coming back to say hi to Coach Ugel and support the 13U team. With their respective high school seasons coming to end, many from the 2023 14U team have come back to be a part of the excitement. We have sincere gratitude to the alumni and parents returning. It’s inspiring to see familiar faces, share stories, and hear about the high school baseball season. The camaraderie contributed to the recent string of great games by the 13U team. Excitement grows with each success.
