Renegades 12U were victorious against New Trier Bulldogs 12U Blue 10-6 on Sunday in their final game of the season. The season ended on a positive note as the Renegades look to the divisional playoffs this week.
Renegades 12U took the lead in the top of the second inning after Emmett O grounded out, and Nolan B walked, each scoring one run.
Renegades 12U flipped the game on its head in the top of the third, scoring five runs on four hits to take a 7-3 lead. The biggest blow in the inning was a single by Jimmy T after a 6-pitch at-bat that drove in two.
Caleb G started the game for Renegades 12U. The righty surrendered three hits and three runs over three innings, striking out four and walking four. Zach S threw two innings of no-run ball for Renegades 12U in relief. They allowed two hits, striking out two and walking none.
Jimmy and Emmett each drove in two runs for Renegades 12U. Caleb W led Renegades 12U with two hits in three at bats. Zackary S, Caleb, and Jimmy each stole multiple bases for Renegades 12U. Renegades 12U ran wild on the base paths, accumulating 17 stolen bases for the game.
